Bea Lelic

My name is Bea Lelic I am a textile artist, my work is often based on Brighton and Sussex. I use natural and chemical dyes, hand painting and hand and machine embroidery. I also belong to a textile group called Angelico and we regularly put on exhibitions, often with a sister group called Threads.

I also use textile techniques to produce knitted and twisted wire jewellery. Rupert, a dear friend of Ozzy, can often be seen resting by the radiator. He is pleased to receive praise, as well as strokes, from our customers, students and fellow artists.

 I can be contacted on 01273 607966

Below you can see my embroidery 'Faded Glory.' This is natural fibres dyed with extracts from plants growing on Sheepcote Valley. The yellow is from Weald, the smokey lilacs are Blackberry and Elder, the buff is from Nettles.
